Why there is no Koenigsegg in India?
The number of supercars is increasing these days in India and nowadays it is not a tough job to spot a supercar in India. Especially in metropolitan cities like Mumbai and Bengaluru. There are a number of rich people in the country who can afford a Ferrari or a Lamborghini or even a Mclaren. But have you ever seen a Koenigsegg in India? Does anyone own it in India? The answer is NO.
Koenigsegg Agera was launched in India at a sticker price of Rs.12.5 crores in the year 2011 and they aimed to sell 2 cars in that year. So here is the question.

Why there is not even a single Koenigsegg in India?
LOW GROUND CLEARANCE:
This is one of the reasons why there is not even a single Koenigsegg in India. The ground clearance is literally too low and it is just kissing the ground. Just imagine driving this car on our Indian roads. The potholes and the uneven road condition could damage the car.
TYPE OF FUEL REQUIRED:
This car runs on high octane fuel and this type of fuel is available in very fewer places. You can even run it in ordinary fuel but it affects the performance of the car and damages the engine.
POWER OF THE CAR:
The power of the car is simply extraordinary. When you drive this beast it feels like the engine is bolted to your back. It has such tremendous power and you can't drive this on our roads and you finally end up in a race track or you might crash somewhere.

LESS POPULARITY:
Koenigsegg is not such a popular brand in India when compared to Lamborghini or Ferrari. Most people don't have any idea about Koenigsegg and when I personally asked some of my friends whether they know about Koenigsegg, literally more than 90% of them doesn't know about it at all and the remaining 10% of them have heard about it but they don't know that they manufacture high-performance cars which are better than a Lamborghini or a Ferrari.
FINANCIAL STRENGTH:
Koenigsegg AB is not in such a financially strong position to start their own plant in India and there are no dealers in India. Even if you want to import you have to pay a large amount of tax.
I didn't consider the price to be a major drawback as there are many millionaires who have their own private jets with them and they don't think about spending their money on this beast.
There might be a lot of drawbacks but most of these drawbacks are not present in other countries. They still remain to be one of the best hypercar manufacturers in the world.
The points were so useful. I think it must have taken a long time for you to collect all these points
